An independent yacht advisory practice.
MARITEC provides independent technical advice to yacht owners and buyers.
The practice
MARITEC provides independent technical guidance to yacht owners during acquisition, operation, refit, and construction. Every engagement is led personally by Troy Seiber, whose career spans yacht production, engineering, vessel command, delivery, and project oversight.
Clients work directly with Troy from the initial scope through final reporting. This keeps observations, decisions, and recommendations consistent throughout the engagement.
Work is accepted only when it can be handled with appropriate care, direct involvement, and clear documentation.

Independence, stated plainly
MARITEC represents the owner's interests, not those of a seller, yard, builder, broker, or vendor. We do not accept sales commissions, referral fees, or other financial incentives from third parties. Any potential conflict is disclosed before an engagement begins; if independence cannot be maintained, the work is declined.

What we stand for
- Candor
- Findings are reported plainly, including issues that may affect cost, timing, or suitability.
- Discretion
- Client identities, vessels, and project details remain confidential unless disclosure is authorized in writing.
- Rigor
- Conclusions are tied to observed conditions and documented evidence.
- Clarity
- Reports explain what was found, why it matters, and what action may be appropriate.
